Pete Sanders started his custom hardware and accessories business in Virginia, where he and his family have upheld a tradition of building and restoring premium-quality classic auto parts for customers.
Pete always had a special connection with automobiles. In 1958 (at age 14), he rebuilt his first engine, a Model A Ford. Five years later, Pete was the New York World’s Fair state winner and entrant at the Hall of Education for the machine trades; his entry was a 2-cylinder engine machined from solid steel.
In addition to classic automobile restoration, Pete's unique projects included restoration and conversion of a 1990 Mazda Miata into an all-electric car. And in 2002, he restored a one-of-a-kind, Harley Earl 1953 Corvette Pedal Car.
In 2007, with the purchase of Charles H. Selick's collection, Pete expanded his business to offer 1926-1937 Cadillac and LaSalle parts. Today, the classic auto and machine business continues to be driven by Pete's legacy and passion for classic automobiles and his family's dedication to producing only the highest-quality parts and accessories.
